Farleigh Dental was established in 2014 by Dr Cavan Barratt and his team. Together they have over 5 decades of experience.
This location has been a dental practice for almost 40 years, and was previously the home to the Jupp Dental practice. We are committed to upholding a first-class level of service and care at this location.

Farleigh Dental is registered with The Care Quality Commission.

We provide patient treatment in relaxed, modern and advanced practice, carried out by our experienced, friendly dental practice team using the latest technology and the strictest infection control methods. Farleigh Dental is a private dental practice and offers private treatment both on a pay as you go basis and via our payment plans, allowing all our patients to budget for their dental health needs.
You can be assured that you, as a patient, are our priority and safe in our care.
As a private practice we’re priced very competitively, with opening times to cater for your busy lifestyle.
All our dental rooms are located on the ground floor and our entrance has a ramp for ease of access. Children are welcome too!

Yes! New patients are always welcome. As a private dental practice independent of the NHS, you don’t have to live in the immediate area to become a patient at Farleigh Dental. Our clients come from far and wide.
You might like to read our Guide For New Patients page for more information. As a private dental practice, Farleigh Dental is entirely independent, and our highly-qualified team includes dentists, nurses and hygienists covering all your dental healthcare requirements.

In order to protect the health of our staff and our other patients, if you have tested positive for Covid-19 or are experiencing symptoms (see the official NHS page here for common symptoms), we ask that you notify us as soon as possible and we will rebook your appointment for a later date
If you are experiencing symptoms of flu or other transmissible respiratory condition, please contact us as soon as possible and our team will advise you on whether we will need to rebook your appointment for a later date.
Wherever possible, please try to give us 24 hours notice so that we can re-allocate your appointment slot to another patient if necessary. We appreciate this is not always possible, but please be aware that there may be a charge applicable for cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice.

Farleigh Dental offers a full range of general dental treatments available on a private basis, as pay per treatment and via our in-house payment plans. We also offer advanced cosmetic dental treatments, including whitening, veneers and tooth-coloured fillings. Cosmetic dental treatments are available on a per-treatment basis.

On your visit, we may tell you that we need to take an x-ray of your teeth. Dental X-rays help with making a diagnosis, planning treatment or monitoring the health of your teeth. They involve the use of ionising radiation (X-rays) to produce detailed images of teeth, gums and jaws. Everyone receives ionising radiation every day from radioactivity in the air, food we eat and even from space. The amount of radiation used for dental X-rays is similar to your everyday exposure over a few days, so the risks associated with them are very low for both adults and children. You can read more about dental x-rays with our PDF poster - click here.

Farleigh Dental is an entirely independent practice and does not provide treatment under the NHS. Free from the constraints and targets of the NHS, we are able to provide the treatment for you, tailored to your individual requirements, rather than what the NHS allows you to have.
Our affordable payment plans provide extensive cover whatever your budget, with worldwide emergency dental cover provided as standard.

While we offer priority to patients registered with Farleigh Dental for emergency/urgent appointments, we do offer emergency appointments to non-registered patients on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. Contact us as early as possible in the day to ensure we can see you as soon as possible.
Registered patients will be seen on the same day, if at all possible.
Emergency treatments outside of payment plan coverage are payable at the time of treatment. See our Fees & Plans page for fee and plan details, and our Emergency Dental page for more information on emergency and urgent treatments.

We offer payment methods to suit you - pay per treatment, monthly payment plans and interest-free finance*.
*Interest-free finance is subject to status and eligibility on application. Dr C G Barratt t/a Farleigh Dental is a credit broker, not a lender. Terms and conditions apply.
