Regular checkups ensure any problems are detected as early as possible, enabling the Farleigh Dental team to tailor treatment to each patient’s needs. We recommend a checkup every 6 to 12 months.

Fillings are repairs to teeth where a hole or cavity has been caused by decay. The most commonly used type of filling is an amalgam, made from a metallic mix of mercury, tin, copper and zinc. Worried about the use of mercury? No need, it’s completely safe -
Alternatives to amalgam include composite resins, porcelain and gold. These are usually not as strong as amalgam and will wear down faster, and for some situations composites just are not suitable.
